We are excited to invite you to be a part of the Fiestas Patronales of Holyoke—a vibrant four-day celebration taking place from July 31st to August 3rd, 2025! Now in its fourth year, this annual event continues to grow, bringing together the community to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Holyoke and Western Massachusetts.
Join us as we highlight the music, food, and dance that define Puerto Rican culture—an essential part of what makes Holyoke so unique. With thousands of attendees, this is an incredible opportunity to connect with the community, showcase your brand, and be part of an unforgettable cultural experience.
Did you know? Holyoke is home to the first Puerto Rican Cultural District in Massachusetts and only the second in the nation! This designation is the result of years of dedication and collaboration between the City of Holyoke, Nueva Esperanza, and partners across the state. As part of our ongoing efforts to celebrate and preserve Puerto Rican culture, we honor a different town in Puerto Rico each year.
This year, we are proud to recognize Comerío, a town rich in history and heritage. Founded on June 12, 1826, Comerío was originally known as Sabana del Palmar (Palm Savannah) due to its abundance of palm trees. In 1894, the city council successfully petitioned the Spanish Crown to rename the town Comerío, in honor of the Indigenous Cacique Comerío, who once inhabited the region.
Fiestas Patronales of Holyoke is excited to continue the tradition of Miss Fiestas Patronales, which began in 2024 and is now returning for its second year in 2025! This event celebrates young individuals who embody pride, charisma, and leadership within our community.
We are searching for enthusiastic participants to represent our community with grace and confidence. The first five registered participants per category will be invited to an introductory meeting. The registration fee is $50 for each category:
