Rental Cost
- Weekday: $200
- Saturday and Sunday Weekend: $250
General Requirements
- All events must receive prior approval.
- A signed rental agreement and payment is required to secure your date.
- All events must apply for a loudspeaker permit at the Police Station.
Insurance Requirements (Mandatory)
- All renters (both nonprofits and individuals) must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI).
- Insurance must include General Liability coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence.
- Armour Yard must be listed as Additionally Insured.
- Proof of insurance must be submitted before final approval.
Approved Vendors
To protect the integrity of the space, renters must work with pre-approved vendors for alcohol services. A list will be shared upon request.
Space Protection & Use Guidelines
- No drilling, nailing, or permanent installations on any surfaces.
- No open flames (including candles) without explicit permission.
- No confetti, glitter, or materials that are difficult to clean.
- All décor must be freestanding and removed immediately after the event.
- Do not move or alter any art installations.
- Food and beverages must be contained to designated areas.
- Renter will receive codes to the porta potty and storage container 24 hours before the event.
Clean-Up & Trash
- Renters are responsible for full clean-up after their event.
- All trash must be bagged and disposed of in designated areas.
Security & Safety
- Events over 50 attendees must provide licensed security.
- Emergency access routes must remain clear at all times.
- No illegal activity, weapons, or hazardous materials allowed.
- Alcohol service requires proper permits and licensed bartenders.
Noise & Time Restrictions
- Events must end by 9:00 PM.
- Amplified sound must comply with local noise ordinances.
- Music volume may be monitored and adjusted if necessary.
- A Police loudspeaker permit is required.
Capacity & Permits
- Maximum occupancy: 100.
- Renters are responsible for obtaining any required city permits.
- Events open to the public may require additional approvals.
Damage Policy
- Renters are fully responsible for any damage to the space, artwork, or property.
- Repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the security deposit or billed accordingly.
Respect the Space
Armour Yard is a shared, community-centered art space. We ask that all renters:
- Treat the space, artwork, and neighbors with respect.
- Leave the space in equal or better condition than it was found.
