The Carlos Vega for Social Justice Foundation will be celebrating the life of Carlos Vega and the impact of the Carlos Vega Fund for Social Justice that has provided nearly $15,000 in mini grants to seventeen nonprofit organizations in the greater Holyoke area over the past 4 years.
This event will be free to attend and guests will be asked to make a meaningful donation to the Carlos Vega Fund for Social Justice.
There will be a short program at 7pm including videos about Carlos and speakers from organizations that have received grants from the CVF.
There will be food and dancing to celebrate.
The event is scheduled to take place on October 17, 2015 at the Gateway City Arts located at 92 Race Street, Holyoke from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.
