Nueva Esperanza Inc. in partnership with other amazing organizations like Holyoke Public School, One Holyoke CDC, In Rosannas Mind, South Holyoke-MeminCalidad, South Holyoke Neighborhood Association, Holyoke Safe Neighborhood Initiative, Rewarding Insurance Agency and Enlace de Familias, is happy to announce that we are continuing the giving tradition this holiday season with the 20th Annual City Wide Toy Drive. In order to make the Puerto Rican Holiday Tradition of Three Kings Day a HUGE Event for our less fortunate kids, we have set a goal to collect over 1,000 gifts between gift cards, unwrapped toys, and/or monetary instrument in order to provide each youth with two wrapped gift. Tape and Wrapping paper donations will greatly be accepted & appreciated. We will be collecting donations from now until December 31, 2019.
If you can find it in your heart to give, our donation drop off center is located at 401 Main Street, Holyoke, MA 01040,the more gifts we collect the better we will continue to spread the love and ensure these gifts get out there to youth in need.
We will ask if anyone that would like to contribute to the giving to join us at our Second Toy Drive Event “Volunteer Wrapping Day” that Nueva will be hosting on December 15, 2019 from 5:30pm- 8:30pm El Mercado Hall on 413 Main Street, Holyoke MA 01040. We will be accepting any donations while we get in the spirit of wrapping gifts. Nueva will be providing light refreshments, music, and prices for those who wrap the fastest and nicest.
Nueva Esperanza Inc. 20th Annual Three kings Event will be held on January 4th, 2019 this event will be open to the first 1,000, Holyoke Public School and Holyoke Community Charter School Students who are in need of the holiday Spirit. This day we come together to honor & celebrate our Puerto Rican cultural tradition and keep it alive in Holyoke with our children music, our 3 kings (Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar), our food, entertainment and generosity. The first 1,000 kids will be receiving 2 gifts. Please be aware that this is first come first serve to our less fortunate kids.
